TRIBE: Accor's design-led lifestyle brand was set for its Romanian debut at Basarab

TRIBE is Accor's design-led lifestyle brand — launched in Perth in 2017 and rolled out across cities like Paris, London, Amsterdam and Warsaw. Its formula: sharply designed, compact rooms at a smart price point, above a social, open ground floor that works as lounge, café and workspace in one.

The brand's Romanian debut was signed at NestPlus's Basarab site: an 85-room Tribe forming one half of a dual-brand building with an Adagio aparthotel — a market premiere announced by Accor and covered across the Romanian business press.

Though the group later repositioned the site to residential, the Tribe signing remains a benchmark: a global operator choosing a NestPlus building for a brand debut in Romania.
