Role description
This is a full-time, on-site Contabil role based in Bucharest, Romania. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate ledgers. The Contabil will prepare periodic financial reports, assist with budgeting and forecasts, and support tax and regulatory filings in line with local requirements. Responsibilities also include reconciling accounts, monitoring cash flow, and collaborating with project and management teams to provide financial data that supports real estate development activities. The position requires close adherence to internal controls and participation in continuous improvement of financial processes.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, local tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel; ability to work with financial databases and ERP systems is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data, prepare clear reports, and communicate findings to non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience in real estate, construction, or related sectors is beneficial.
- Relevant education in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications are a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Bucharest, Romania, with a diverse, cross-functional team.
- Professional working proficiency in Romanian; English language skills are an advantage.
