Brăila Plaza Enters the Final Stage of Development

Construction at Brăila Plaza continues to advance, with the project now entering its final stage of development and preparations underway for the upcoming tenant handovers.

Visible progress is being made across the entire scheme. Façade installation is advancing, internal works are moving towards completion, the sprinkler network is in place, and unit partitions are nearing completion. At the same time, shell spaces are progressively being prepared for tenant fit-out as activity on site begins to transition from base-build construction to the next phase of delivery.

Brăila Plaza benefits from a strong commercial position within an already established retail location. Lidl and Kaufland are operational and performing well at the site, generating activity and contributing to the development of the area as one of the city’s most significant retail destinations.

The project also represents an important transformation of the former Promex industrial platform, bringing a previously industrial site back into active use through a wider urban-regeneration initiative. Its positioning in the north of Brăila, with direct access from the E87, places the development within the wider Brăila–Galați commercial catchment.

With 8,900 m² of fully let GLA, on our 16,900 m² site, Brăila Plaza brings together a complementary mix of established national and international brands, spanning retail, services, fitness and food & beverage. The tenant line-up includes Burger King, JYSK, Action, MR.DIY, Deichmann, Pepco, Sinsay, TEDi, Dr. Max, 18GYM, Xpress and Mesopotamia, creating a diverse commercial offer designed to serve both everyday needs and the wider shopping and leisure requirements of the local community.

As construction approaches completion, attention on site is increasingly shifting towards tenant delivery and fit-out, requiring close coordination between the construction teams, project partners and incoming occupiers.

The handover schedule is holding, and Brăila Plaza continues to move steadily towards opening.
